First trans build TH350

Trans is supposedly from my father's old 69' Camaro. Took it apart today and the apply band is burned up pretty bad as are a couple steels and frictions (2nd and 3rd clutch packs). I've been researching as well as reading the Ron Sessions book and I think I have a solid parts list, what does everybody else think?

Car is a 79' Malibu, for now has a 350 Goodwrench but will have the 355 with 280H cam and 2400 stall with my 8.5" rear and 3.73.

B&M trans rebuild kit - 190.25 - (30229)

I'm just learning but as of now the mods I would like to do are 4 sun gear bushings, hardened intermediate race, add an extra friction and steel on the direct clutch, and add a shift kit. The trans rebuild kit comes with the seats and gaskets, it just didn't come with the bushings or thrust washers. Also the extra sun gear bushings are up there because the kit only comes with two.

Any input is greatly appreciated. Will be doing this under my teacher's supervision so nothing will be left out (hopefully)

Yup, read the whole thread before posting on here after making my list. Very good thread I like the pictures it has because the books don't have very good pictures. But I did email him today with a bunch of questions I was asking.

Sounds like your looking before you leap - keep the book by Sessions in front of you and you will be golden.
