front brakes for drag car

Hello, looking to upgrade the brakes on my Cutlass. Currently have stock disc on 2in drop spindles. Changing to tube control arms. What front brakes/spindles does everybody use. Drag race only.

my dad and i both run the stock calipers and rotors. he has run 9.80 @135. i have run 10.70@134 and we both have had zero issues with using the stock setup.

You should be fine with the stock parts up front if they're just going to get used one or two times for a hard stop. Maybe look into some more aggressive pads?

I run the USBrakes GM metric rotors w/ just a semi metallic pad and have no issues stopping at the track
