Front to Rear Brake Line Assistance

A few years ago I bought the ClassicTube stainless brake line kit for the car. I am finally installing on my car and I have the front to rear line to add. My line was replaced about 10 years ago but it was made out of 2 lines spliced together. I have debated leaving it there but I prefer one solid line and also the Stainless steel is not a bad choice IMO.

I was seeing if anyone has replaced this line ,in one piece without the body off the frame. It seems to wrap from inside the frame rail over the frame rail just in front of the rear tire well, then it seems to follow the rear crossmember up to the point you connect the flex line to the axle housing.

I have replaced it in stainless and iI have a lift

It was a huge pain in the butt

Next time I do it, if there is a next time I will use regular steel.

I am getting ready to do this in the next week.It almost looks like the body on the drivers side will need to be jacked up just a bit. There is a bolt that sits on top of the frame that looks almost impossible to get to without jacking it up.Its the one just after the proportioning valve.

Well I unbolted it all back to the rear tire. For Me that is where it disappears but frame off would be a breeze. If I were to jack up the body how many body bolts would I need to unbolt? I have new bushings to put in anyway so I could start that.
