I want to go with a manual gear box and get of the power steering. What year S-10 had the gear box that works for my 80 elco! And does anyone know the part number?

Really any year S10 83-92 for sure, maybe even 93-02, that had manual steering will work. Around here they are hard to find. Good luck!
And drive terrible. I took mine off and put my power steering back on. I gave the box away with a warning that it drove bad, but he was happy to get it.StreetBu said:

It's just too slow of a ratio for my tastes. If you like to do burnouts you have to be really careful because it will get away from you. IMO the power steering doesn't take away enough power to warrant removing it, but to each his own.tiedyemike8 said:
