Getting motor/transmission tomorrow - Check list?

I talked with the recycler on the phone today. I was going to have them deliver it next week, but I've decided to go pick it up myself. It's only an hour drive, and I want to make sure they include everything they said they would and everything I need.

I'm trying to make a check list to make sure I get everything I need.
So far, I've gotten this:

2002 4.8L Engine/4L60E transmission
ECM
Complete wire harness
Drive by wire throttle pedal/controller/harness
MAF sensor
Fuse/relay block
EFI Pump (going to give it to me, may or may not use it).

Anything else I should get while I'm there?

Did you already pick up a G-Body EFI sending unit?

I'm assuming you're using the truck pan, truck intake and accesories? It would be nice if the sent you the whole intake filter box and all. I know you probably wont use it all, but nice to get the whole enchilada w/accesories and all.

I'm hoping that I can use the truck pan and accessories. I will have to mock it up and see how it fits.

I will try to get the complete intake filter box (just in case), but I was thinking about getting some mandrel bent tubing and cobbling up something to runn it out to the front or side.

That would be ideal, But it's nice to have the rubber intake tubes and hose clamps etc, even if its just so you can just start it up before it's all finished and then try figure out the placement, plus if it's free with the engine you might as well, you can always throw it out later if you dont use it. What are you doing for the pcm? Doesnt it need to be flashed with a new program since there wont be any PATS or or other misc items?

The guy at the recycler said he would hook me up with a reprogram after I determine tire size and gears. He says he's done several. :thumbsup:

If he's using one of the handheld "Power Tuners" Hypertech, etc, That wont cut it. You need to remove parts of the programming from the pcm that you dont need anymore, like the PATS (Passive Anti-Theft Systsem) especially, otherwise it wont even start. Just thougth I'd throw that out there.

try and snag the 4 02 sensors, any other small stuff you may need, its that stuff that adds up $$$

if you end up needing an airbox let me know....I have the one I just took off the '06 I bought and another box minus the tube leftover from fixing one at work
