GM connecting rods ?

Did gm ever make a factory 6" small block rod? If so what engines were they used in?

Not for a sbc. I believe they did for the LS series motors, but those arent usable in a typical sbc.

Before after-market rods were available and affordable the circle track claimer guys would sneak in and use a bushed 6" OEM Oldsmobile rod in the SBC with a little machine work.

The L99 4.3 v8.the baby LT1 has 5.94 inch powdered metal rods.
