Typically people like the drive by cable harness (uses throttle body cable for your gas peddle)1999-2002. You can find all the info to do your own harness here, including drive by wire if you have a newer ls motor.

I used PSI Conversion for my harness. http://www.psiconversion.com/

They have been great to deal with. When I have a question, they answer usually within an hour, even on the weekends.
