How does this parts list sound for my swap?

I'm putting a 5.3 out of an 2002 Silverado in my 80 bu. How does this sound as far as a way to go about it?

Using the truck accessories

Notch the crossmember in front to clear an f-body oil pan

Pace setter headers. Or will truck manifolds work if flipped forward?

Harness I am reworking myself and a buddy is tuning the PCM.

Fuel system, haven't really decided yet. Thought about trying to make an LS1 f-body pump and assembly work in the g-body tank, but haven't really even looked to see if it's possible.

The only question I have is all about the headers/stockers. Here is the question, why flip them? The only reason I know to flip them is for turbos.

What transmission are you running? the rest of it sounds fine though...

Flip for turbo's later down the road.

Can't decide on transmission yet. Either a 2004r that I have sitting here or buy a 4l60e from an ls1 f-body

If you're going with the turbo setup, keep the computer controls, and try to find a 4l80e...it means a few wiring upgrades and a computer flash, but the transmission is indestructable. The only thing I had to do to make it fit was cut the dogears off of it for the exhaust. Order the crossmember from iceman, and you'll be happy you did it.
