How many lq4 G bodies in here???

Well i sold my Big block and gonna start the journey on doing a ls motor and gonna buy a lq4 soon. Just kinda wondering what everybodys input is on them and how do they like them performance wise.

my 462 pontiac wasnt as fast as my stockish 6.0...and it runs on cheap gas, never overheats...ill never go back to old school motors

I bought the car 2 months ago with the bbc if it was my decision i would of went ls in the first place.

And thats the exact reason im doing ls the technology is there along with power. i got tired of the overheating problem everytime i looked at the temp it was 220-225.

Ran Sunday with a stock bottom LQ4, PRC 243's, TR224 cam .561 baby cam, LS6 intake in my 3400lb car and got a best of 11.83. The car had much more I'm just a noobie at drag racing. That's with a 1.7 60'.

Love the car I could of driven it an hour and a half to the track if I wanted to.

I've got the same thing, no mods done mnius the zo6 cam, and it runs great all day, drove from atlanta to richmond non stop, car gives a few problems, but mostly my fault :D Its a great swap, easier as the days go by, and will save you money,. What transmission are you putting behind it?

Thats awesome for what you havedone.Im gonna throw themotor in it stock at first just to get the bugs worked out and put decent sized cam and some worked heads and a few more goodies.
as for the transmission either a 4L60E or 80

265k lq4 and 4l80 runs 10.4@129 on 100 shot car weighs 3550 with me in it. polluter cam, ls6 heads, 07 silverado truck intake, 92mm TB, 3400 stall 5.13 gears

What headers do u have? and doesnt the stock oil pan fit without modifying the cross member??
