Sorry to get too technical but tubular would not be correct for the OEM handles as they are solid,round would be correct,they are my favorite as they're different! Later,KillerDave


My current shfter was in my '69 SS 396 that had a '66 SS console. It has that offset handle moumt you're talking about. It won't work in a G-body wit hthe factory floor hump as it puts the shifter stick almost dead center in the trans tunnel.

Your right, the handles are round solid steel, not tubular. I was thinking of the S10 shifters.
