What are the added bonused to running the Edelbrock carb intake instead of the GMPP? I've noticed a few people opting for the Edelbrock over the GMPP and I was able to get a GMPP at a very reasonable price but I have not installed it onto the motor yet.

Edelbrock has a single plane like the GM perfomance parts, but Edelbrock has a victor jr and a super victor and a RPM.

as far as pros and cons I dont know which one is more suited for your application.
I have noticed that most of the mags. have used the GMPP intake.

i have seen people using both, with no hard evidence that one is better than the other, however with the RPM intake you cant run a holley carb if you wanna put the timing controler on the manifold. When i tried it the booster hit the box, easy fix but still sort of a pain in the butt. Its not really a problem with the single plain intakes though because the box doesn't mount on the intake. The GMPP intake is a tiny bit shorter than the edelbrock victor jr. too.
