yes you can buy intakes. The intake ports are different, so the intake is different, and with the wider intake ports the pushrod was moved over, so you need 8 GM offset intake rockers...they are only like 8.00 each.
thanks for the info, when looking at used, or even new intakes, I have never seen anyone say what heads theres are for :?
the intake ports on the l92's are rectangular, the ports on the stock head are cathedral shaped. But close to 300CFM out of the box is worth the cost of a new intake IMO
