Do you realy need a main cap removal tool? If not how do you remove them.

Two 3/8 extensions will work. Just put them in the space under the cap and between the block and gently pry up.

I've never used a tool. Just pliers or like mentioned. Remember these are 6 bolt mains. Two are on the side of the block.
