KIND OF NEW TO THE WHOLE HOT RODDING THING..... MSD? SEE THEM EVERYWHERE... KNOW ITS AN ISSUE WITH THE DISTRIBUTOR AND SPARK SYSTEM BUT WHAT IS THE REAL ADVANTAGE? ANY DRAWBACKS? INTERESTED IN PURCHASING ONE BUT WANNA KNOW MORE ABOUT THEM....

Thy're pretty much the way to go for an all out race car or a car that sees very little daily street miles. They do have a rare tendancy to just sometimes crap out with no obvious cause. If you want a rock solid daily driveable performance distributor, I can't recommend Performance Distributors enough.

yup, msd has multiple sparks under 3k rpm, so it can help clean up a radical street motor.
