I have a 78 monte carlo. Stock front end parts. I am in the middle of putting in a 5.3 and the motor is set back, way back. There is about an inch of motor in front of the firewall. Just an alt and a water pump for accessories. Aluminum radiator is in the plans but not purchased yet. Do you think the 1700lb springs would be too much?
