My full frame notching

Althougt here is many topics on this subject, this one is first notching project in Croatia so I want to share it with you. Thanks to great help from 7secondmalibu I have finished frame notching on my Malibu and now he is ready for biger tires (just do not know jet will it be 29" ili 30"x15). I am hoping that it will provide better traction and lower ET.

I hate to tell you this, and don't want to sound like a know it all, but you do not weld your cage to plates attached to the floor pan. It's illegal and surely not safe. You do that in a sub frame car because the sheet metal is way thicker in the areas you weld those plates to. I've seen this a lot. Get a rule book if you have any doubts, it has to go to the frame.

That's what I was thinkin'. I'm guessing they don't have ruling that's as strict (if at all).

it looks like seam sealer around the bottom of the cage too me....... I hope I am right
