i have done the search and read every post but i still cant find the answer. I want to get some summit or jegs weld knockoffs, what i want to know is what back spacing and width should i go with so they fit my 86 monte. They dont have any 3.5 inch back space witch fits mint. i dont want to notch the frame. Im looking for the fat and skinny look. The guy i baught the car from said he had 15x8 with 3.5 bs on the bacl with draglites. I cant afford the draglites, so i was hoping someone could help if not ill have to keep saving my pennies i guess.

15x8" is going to be the average size you find most running on street cars. I have 4" B.S. on my 15x8's with 275/60/15. you could probally run a 255 series and would have no problems.

well the plans have changed with this car and its just going to be a driver until i get my truck finished. So now what i asking is what size and backspacer and tire size should i go with with the jegs wheels. Im going to drive the car everyday and want to keep it cheep but i hate the wheels that are on it now. The jegs sizes are:

15x4 with 1 3/4'' bs. I dont think that would be good for a street car

15x7 with 4 3/4'' bs or 4'' bs

15x8 with 5 1/2 ''bs or 4 1/2'' bs

so my question is what would be best for the street and not stick out of the wheel wells? also what sire tire would you suggest? the car is 2 inches lower than stock and i dont want to cut anything up. This car will be for sale after my truck is done im hoping within the next 2 years. Thank you guys for the help
