So after cutting my coils to get the right height i took her for a test drive and the transmission is shifting funny and there is a burning smell i can't describe.. i only cut 3/4 of a coil in front an 1 inch drop in the back. could the drive shaft angle be causing my transmission to shift crazy.. this is odd ... also put modifyd crossmember and notice you can lift the transmission and crossmember up an inch or so with your hand, is this right.. need some help boyz

You shouldn't be able to move the transmission and crossmember. I'd get back under there and see what's loose.

This is a shot in the dark but how far is the yoke sitting in the transmission, with it being lowered more could the yoke be sitting in the transmission to far and it's rubbing?

well, i put the original springs back in the rear and it drive alot better. but i am still concerned about the crossmember and transmission play. everything is bolted in seems like the crossmember is rigid enough to hold the transmission, how the hell do i fix that its the original,

Did you put the rubbers back in where it bolts to each side of the frame?
