Hello Everyone,

UMI Performance is now manufacturing and offering control arm braces for the 78-88 G-Body. Braces are manufactured from DOM steel, TIG welded and feature adjustability for a perfect fit. Our braces are also bent to the follow the contour of the floor to prevent denting or pounding of the floor boards. This item is 100% bolt in and includes all needed hardware.

Thanks for the interest in UMI Performance! We manufactured our frame braces to reinforce the control arm mounting locations. Because under hard acceleration the rear end whats to roll up under the drivers seat and sometimes that will damage the mounting locations and bend them and so on! When it comes to performance it all depends on what uppers and lowers you have. And when if comes to a extra insurance policy on your torque boxes it all depends on what frame braces you are running.
