The alternator pigtail can be bought at any parts store. The 10 gauge red lead can be looped back to the charge post on the alternator. The other three wires are for a +12V ign. source, a charge indicator lead (must be used with a diode if using a factory idiot light, otherwise, disregard the wire altogether) and the third small wire is used for a diesel tach pickup lead (obviously not used). I can't remember off-hand which order on the pigtail they are, but at th eparts store, just look at the charging system wiring diagram for say, a 1990 Iroc Z-it'll show you the pigtail layout-bascially if you have a gauge in the dash now, you only lead to use one small wire for +12V ign. on and the 10 gauge lead for the battery charge wire lead. -Jabin
