I'm in the market for a NOS controller. My basic system is a Edelbrock plate 250 shot. I see many different style controllers available by many different companies at many different price points. Is there a difference? What is the difference? How do they work? One better than another?
Thanks

As with much of the Edelbrock nitrous stuff, I believe their progressive controller is just a repackaged NOS controller with a different readout and pushbuttons instead of knobs. The control modes, from everything I've read, seem identical.

Basically how they work is by using Pulse Width Modulation to cycle the solenoids (both the nitrous and fuel) up through a programmed curve until you reach 100% duty cycle (solenoid wide open all the time). By altering the ramp rate and time-to-full-power, you can ease into the nitrous instead of an on/off switch-based system that can really overpower your tires.

I sell that piece for $400, and you do not have to go through some ebay person that you might not ever hear from again.

its not anything like the NOS unit........smaller,sleaker and works more consistantly-the fastest nitrous DR cars all run the Edelbrock unit

NOS hasent made a quality part since the Holley takeover and more than have thier stuff is made overseas
