no power at all

Is there any relay or fuse that would blow to make the whole car not to have power? my bro and me were testin a couple wires the yesturday to figure out which wires were hot in the run position and then went to start the car and i heard a pop and now there is no power to the whole car.

fusible link, maybe? that's where i would start. i've also heard if your starter solenoid pops, it can kill all power, since the hot battery lead heads there first. just a couple suggestions.
