nuetral safety switch

what color are the factory wires for the nuetral safety switch--

i thought the back-up lights were the purple wire???

i just went thru this, the g body actually doesnt have a nuetral safety switch. its just a mechanical lockout whern the column is moved when going thru the gears. the purple wire coming from the ign switch goes directly to the starter.i wired a relay and used a micro switch on my pro stick to engage the relay when in park or nuetral. hope this helps
