will a 8.5 from a 1974 olds cutlass bolt into a 1979 malibu and if so i know its wider what bs would i have to run to get the tires to sit in the wheel wells

I put one from a 76 Chevelle in my 80 it's a pain and it won't bolt straight in but if you don't mind alittle work.... I'm not sure they may make upper control arms to fit now .When I did this I had to make my own. and move the shock mount. I can't remember what back space I use but 29x9 hoosiers are a nice fit. 28x10.5s just barely rubbed so I got a thin spacer behind the wheel. I ladder barred and coil overed it a few years ago but I still use that 8.5. I did break an axle one time but Moser fixed that lol. Good Luck
