Definately different. I don't know why some folks center caps fit and some don't.

78 and older they fit 80 and newer the hub sticks out to far on rotor. and some 79s they fit switched half way through year i think.

i got them to fit on my 82 by smacking cap in a lil and grind alot out of back of center caps.

I have the 1LE brake conversion on the car, and i dont have the center caps on the pics, but they are on since, couse i had to use 1/2" wheel spacers.
