I've got a set of UMI lowers in with Poly bushings, now need adjustable uppers. I'm wondering how well it would work with poly bushings in the housing and lowers, and sphericalt rod ends on the uppers? I've got to change the ones in the housing, they're junk. Poly or Rubber?

Thanks!

The best for the housing are the stiff rubber ones from HR Parts N Stuff, other than that, I actually had better use from the O.E. rubber (new) than the poly bushings.

IMO, poly is the worst choice for a stock style 4 link on our cars. If you MUST have poly, only use it one one end of each arm. Use stock rubber, the upgraded HR Parts N Stuff ones or better yet, spherical bearings on the other.

We now make (2) versions of our adjustable upper control arms. Once set features spherical rod ends and the other polyurethane bushings. If the vehicle is straight line only with some occasional street use the poly set up is good... if the vehicle will see some handling we recommend the spherical end set-up. We then sell the Energy Suspension rear end housing bushings for $30.00 a set.

if you have any questions please let me know. Thank you!

Do you make adjustable uppers for a 12-bolt into G-Body swap?

We sure do! In that instances we only make and recommend the spherical end to prevent any type of binding. The part # is 3019 and more information can be found here- http://www.umiperformance.com/3019

If you have any questions please ask. Thank you!
