question on balancing an engine?

I would. You balanced it in the first place to get all the rods,pistons and pins to weight about the same..now with new rods that all weight different it would deffinatly be something I would do.

Yep, Rods will be heavier, Pistons will be lighter.

IMO it's not an issue of SHOULD you rebalance. I'd say you MUST. The bob weights will be completely different.
