If you keep fuel injected, the fuel lines and a baffled tank are the big things I can think of, then getting the computer reprogrammed and the wiring harness redone-- http://www.wait4meperformance.com --if you decide to go carbed, the swap kit is in summitracing or jegs, but usually runs you about 600-800 bucks. you'll need the conversion pieces as well from jegs or summit for motor mounts. You should (if I remember the s10 has alot in common with the gbody) be able to run the truck manifolds as well, they're a great flowing manifold as I've read and heard....oh shet, forgot, brp has the mounts for the trans and the engine! http://www.brphotrods.com/s10%20Home%20page.html

There is much more over at ls1tech.com as well
Trans, I decided to run with a 4l80 trans instead of the 4l60 or 65, yes its a bit heavier but I've heard a lot more nice things about it than the others as well. Its stronger, holds up better to high hp vehicles, my friend runs it in his turbo'd silverado with 670 hp to the ground and its stock and holds up well, where as his 4l60 was a stage 3 rebuild and still gave out after 15k miles.
