My rear sway bar snapped when I hit a bump turning into a gas station. Anyone else ever have this problem. What would cause this? My control arms are adjustable with spherical rod ends. Just a bad sway bar?

I don't know what caused it but my sons Monte broke one at the rear bolt hole. His car does wheel hope real bad.
They are a spring, and a spring has a limited number of cycles before it will fail. The number of cycles should not have likely been exceeded by now, so it may be a matter of $#!+ happens in your case.
