I am changing out the rear end on a 78 BU changing from a 10 bolt 7.5 to a big 10. I currently have south side bars on the old rear with solid uppers. On the new rear i will have adjustable uppers the question i am wanting to know is should i put the southside bars back on the new axle having to make and weld the lower mounting plates on, or put adjustable lowers on using the original mounts?

I mostley drive this on the street but it does see some track time. Any help will be greeatley appreciated.

Need more info.

HP = 450 - 475

Other suspension - Front stock
Rear everything stock except new rear housing, stock springs cut down 2in to lower rear, sway bar, air bag in right side.

Let me know if yu need anything else. As i said mostley street driven i am thinking about changing front shocks to help weight transfer what do you recomend for a good street drag ratting 70 / 30?
