I just ordered it from Amazon for 17.01 and free shipping (I am not a Prime member). It was the best price I could find anywhere.

All of those places make sense. I had thought about the vapor barrier. My Toyota has a plastic sheet between the door and the door panel with a thin strip of sticky caulk holding it in place.

Thanks for the tips. The original box mounting bolts had caulk under the washers.

i haven't bought any in a while but it's a 3m product and they're usually pricey so it sounds like a good price.I've used it to replace missing sections of the vapor barrier goo but i wouldn't use it on the whole thing it's not THAT sticky on those slippery plastic sheets.

Is 1 box of the 3M caulk sufficient?

A friend of mine gave me a box of it and its probably enough to do 4 or 5 boxes. I used the new seal that I bought from Mikes Montes. Used the strips inside the AC box and to put the top half on.
