Been lurking here for a while, and have found this to be a very informative site!
Now to my question. What backspacing should I run, to get a Hoosier Quick time pro, 28x11.50x15", to fit in the stock wheel well of an 85 monte ss (g body)? I haven't trimmed the wheel lip yet, but am not opposed to doing so. Will be installing a Quick performance 9" very soon (hopefully back from powder coating by weekend), with Spoon delsphere adjustable upper and lower control arms, and would like to use these tires, if they'll fit. Also what rim width is best, 8", 8.5", 10"? Would a 10" rim even fit a stock wheel well/frame? Maybe with a 5" or 5.5" backspace? I figure I'd ask the experts before spending again..
