Backspace ? I need answers for before I purchase wrong wheel

I've recently found a great deal on a set of Greg Weld star wheels, the rear wheels are 15 x 8 with 4.5 backspacing. What size slick can I use? What mods would be needed? Currently the car has stock wheel weld and fender lip. Will a 275/60/15 drag radial work with these wheels? If so, would I need to modify the fender lip? Thank you

probably would rub the frame before the lip with 4.5 backspace. may need a small spacer.

mine rubbed the frame just a little bit with a 275 radial and a 4.5 b/s prostar.

Going to try a 275/60-15 on a 7" Weld wheel on my wagon tonight. I'll let you all know how it fits. 8)

i have 15x8 with 4" back spacing and an ET street 28x11.5 and it rubs occasionally on the inside. I think a 15 x 8 with 3.75 bs would be perfect. unless your frame is notched.
