i am going to be starting my T5 swap into my 86 monte. the one thing that i seem to be having trouble finding is what i can do about a crossmember. i have a G-force crossmember for a TH350. do i have to do any modifications to the crossmember to make it work? id prefer to fabricate something out of it myself rather than buy a whole new crossmember since my budget is tight. any info on what others did would be helpful.

You will have to relocate the transmission mount hole on a TH350 crossmember. I am not sure how that will work out on the G-Force crossmember. You can make an OEM crossmember work.
