i have a th200 in my car that isnt shifting right and i dont really feel like fixing it. i found some th350s that i wanna swap in there. a couple were short shaft and a couple were mid shaft w/ the 9" tail on it. how much of a diffrence does that make? i found some dimensions on here that figured out to be w/ a 6" tail it was 27" and w/ a 9" tail it came out to 30" and the 200 is 28" long so i duno if it matters or not so any feedback would really be appreciated.

if im not mistaken if you have a th200 or the 200r4 they will work with the short tailshaft th350 driveshaft but needs a modified transmount crossmember. If that makes any sense. #-o

ok. i thought the th200 was similar to the 350 and the 2004r was similar to the 700r4. cuz i have an aftermarket crossmember in there for a th350 cuz i didnt realize it wasnt a 350 till i noticed the tail shaft didnt come off. but i could be completely wrong on that. and i dndnt have to put the extension piece on the crossmember i put on there and i think its like the g-force crossmember. but haha since i dont know thats why i'm askin.

OK if theres a th200 in there now a th350 with a 6 inch shaft will bolt right in using all the stock parts. Now if you us a 9inch shaft th350 your drive shaft will need to be shorted 3 inch.
