TH400 - 9" Driveshaft Length

I measured from the case the yoke, and it came out a tad over 53 1/2" does this seem right? its an 86 Monte Carlo. I need to buy a driveshaft and just wondering before i call to get one custom made.

Transmission - TH400
Rearend - QP 9"

it would be the best idea to call the company your going to order from to see how they would like it measured jmo

That sounds awfully long to me. If memory serves me on my Monte with a t400/moser 90" it was 50.5" center to center. Not sure how you were measuring though.

yeah i will in the morning, just went from edge of transmission case, to end of yoke on the rearend like every website says, just wanted to see if anyone running same combination was close.
