what is the largest tire DIA. that will fit on the rear of a 80 gp with out radiuses the wheel wall alot thank you CHUCK

A number of people run 29.5/30" tall 9" tread without a lot/any work to the wheel wells. This all depends on tire width and backspacing of course.

Ok I went looking at tires and the 255/60/15 just looks to tall so I thought about going with a 265/50/15 but is that just a little to wide without moding anything?

I run a 275-60-15 on the rear of mine and DO have a tiny bit of rubbing with full fuel tank and a passenger OR 3 kids in the back seat I have to watch the bumps. But I run 15X8" w/4" BS also. 8)

I have BFG 255/60R15's on Monte SS 15" x 7" rims. 3.75" BS (?) No rubbing anywhere even with the GW springs that brought the car back to stock ride height.
