i know that alot of people get away with doing different stuff to fit large tires under the car.

i just bought some 275 mt streets to get by since my rear end is off about a 1/2 or the car is who knows!!

first thing is your going to want to measure from your frame to the axle and make sure the car is straight and to make sure the rear end is equal side to side. even if everything is stock, factory stuff on these cars are known for being off a little

what tire are you thinking of because they dont make a 295-50-15 in an et radial

the 295-65-15 is a 30x12.5x15 so it will need a 9-12 in wide wheel to be right the biggest tire iv seen stock body is a 29x9 et drag so i would say it will need mini tubs and frame notch to accomodate <- sp the extra 1.5-2 in wider the 295s will be

28x10.50 ET Drag will fit, may need to roll quarter lip or light frame notch.

295's is kind of too wide for an 8" rim isn't it? I have 275's on 8" and the sidewalls are tapered quite a bit.

This has a few pictures that might help. http://maliburacing.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=337318&highlight=#337318

I'm running a BFG drag Radial 275/60R15 with rolled fender lips and no notched frame, on a 15x8 rim with a stock rearend. I could probaly squeeze a bit more tire in there. :D
