TnT but no boom

Got to the track for the first time since breaking an axle in October lame_sign.gif . Got my Moser axles BACK in so shouldn't go through that again. Best pass was a 7.583 at 89.571 mph with a 1.571 60 foot slightly pulling the fronts. Had some minor teething problems with hitting the new rev limiter and still trying to figure out how to use a lineloc . First points race is April 3 so need to get some more seat time between here and there.

Roxboro, my home track. It's almost an hour north of Raleigh. I also run at Piedmont which is south of Burlington.

That's a ways away! I hear good things about Piedmont, though.

Piedmont races on Sunday again this year so I may be able to run their points also. Go to one of their Bigdog Thursday night shows if you can get in. It's an experience. I heard a pretty well sourced rumor about one of the local tracks 60' actually measuring 58' :shock: . Makes everyones 60 look better so therefore..."It's a hookin' sumbitch".

I'll have to keep that in mind. Luckily for me, I'm an hour from Zmax and 10 minutes from Shadyside.

Haven't been to Zmax yet. I was supposed to go to the Pinks All Out last year (4 wide) to crew with my buddy who got us tix but his Challenger popped a motor.
