Is it normal to find metal shavings possibly aluminum in the transmission pan after pulling down the pan on the first fluid change after about a month of use, street driving and some frequent burn outs on low gear and up shifting from low gear up to normal drive gear? .the trans. is shifting good but had a leak on the detent cable and pan and the guy that rebuilt it said its the convertor going out and its only about 8 months old. he wants to blame it on the torque convertor and he says it cant be the transmission because that kind of metal isnt used inside the transmission parts. I dont believe him I dropped off my car and him and his brother her driving my car around . I was so pissed off. the transmission should have good clutches a tricked out valve body racing governor srings a racing sprag race a heavy duty center support and he told me the transmission stays in low gear until I take it out or up shift it back to drive he told me its a heavy duty transmission and not be be afraid to get it on. please give me your feed back on the metal shavings sorry for going on and on but i didnt wanna leave anything out oh almost forgot its a 350 transmission with a 2600-3000 stall jegs brand 200.00 dollars. ](*,)
