Transmisson mount

I have a LS1 engine and 4l60E transmission with the 1'' set back engine mount plates. I was wondering what transmission mount should I use, or would it be best to make my own?
The factory mount is not even close to working, and I didn't want to throw $200-300 at an aftermarket mount that won't work. |Any ideas? :-k

easy and best working ones....iceman, he's on top of the board as one of the sponsors. BRP also makes pretty good ones, but I always like Iceman, his stuff is top notch and he backs it up

Yea, I've looked at his stuff, its really nice.
But will it work with a stock LS1/4l60E that has been set back 1''?

As far as I know, yes. Basically you email him directly and tell him what you are doing and he will build it to work out. Like I said, I've got a 4l80 and the 200r4 crossmember is what I'm using. His stuff is strong and works well. If you want to make it yourself just to make sure it fits right, and you have a few welding skills, you can buy the Transdapt kit thats a "build it yourself" crossmember.
