I pulled one out of a wreck to use on my Malibu. All it is is just a wire that gets a constant hot.
The tilt switch to turn it on and off is in the metal housing that the bulb twists into. I don't know exactly where on the trunk the factory put it but a small screw and you can put it almost anywhere.
Very simple.

o ok thanks... well i guess its off the the junk yard tomorrow i hate goin in my trunk at night and cant see.. lol same with the engine bay but i got a solution for that..
