Hey guys got a 78 Malibu and I'm trying to put some slicks on it. I have a buddy who sold me some with rims that he had on his grand national but they don't fit on the malibu. Rim and tries hit the frame. They are 26.0/10.0/15 tires and the rims is 15/10. Not sure of the back spacing. I know they are both g body's but can anyone tell me why they don't fit and what I can do to get them to fit. Or do I have to buy new ones with different back spacing or put a different rear end on it. Can some please point me in the right direction.

Yea I've learned that in the past with my trucks. Just figured that they were both G Body's and they would work. Do they sale a kit for the frame notch? Can someone post some picturs so I can see what I have to do?
