I am having a problem with my turn signals. The passanger side works some of the time and when i turn my head lights on the turns signals don't work at all. I thought it might be a groud problem but everything seems to be grounded well and the i am getting voltage to the light socket. when the switch is on just no light. this is the weirdes thing i have ever seen. I need help with this.

yes i have tried that i took the buld from the other side and put it in and still the same thing. I am thinking that it might be the light switch because it is the side that has to do with the light switch that makes it light up. I am going to try that next if i can find one. It is the kind that you pull out for the lights and twist for the dome. Thanks

Put the bulb in turn your signal light on and headlights on.Then using a test light touch the outside gold metal on the bulb in the pigtail I'm pretty sure your test light is going to light up showing you that the bulb is looking for ground. You may just have to pull the little bolt out that holds the ground wires on the rad support and sand the metal clean.

I just ended a 2 year battle with my turn signals. Once my brake lights went out about 6 months ago, i had to fix it.
Ya know what it was? The taillight sockets, or recepticles were just so trashed, i put 4 new ones in, and bam, all works great

The turn signal flashers in these cars work off load IIRC, meaning they need the bulb there to flash in the first place. Are the brake light elements good on that side? Another test would be to turn on your 4-way flashers & see if all your lights flash like they're supposed to. If that one still doesn't flash then it's something to do with the wiring to that socket or the socket itself.

I got them at a bad *ss parts store here in town. Its my favorite place in the world. They always have everything in stock, they have some really neat stock parts.
If you for some reason cannot find them, i have no issue mailing you some.
I dont know if this is something autozone, or the chainstores would carry. Just let me know. I have paypal, but i will only be in town another week.
The store has been in business since 1964, its call "S&S Auto"
