Vette rims

I was wondering if these would fit on my 4 door Malibu. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/pts/618303879.html

EDIT: I read that some Vette rims wont work because of back spacing issues but it didn't specify which ones won't work

They should. IF you use spacers-about 2" and they are only 9.5" wide at the most. Looks they they may be aftermarket repops of Z06 rims meant to fit an '84 Vette-the backspacing is different back in the 84's compared to the c5 style Vette's.

Yes they fit if you use those spacers !! I run them on a s10 and it is the same front suspention . i'd reccomend you run a .25 to .50 larger in front cuz wen you are fully turn they might rub on tie rods depending on the angle of the wheel ! That is if your are talking about the wheel of the pics not 84 vette wheel !!! The wheels pics are Z06 wheels 18x10.5

I know they are Z06 styel rims-but they didnt make a z06 in 84 and the backspacing is wrong on stock z06 rims to just bolt them on an 84 vette. SO THEY ARE MOST LIKELY AFTERMARKET COPIES MEANT TO FIT AN 84 or actuall Z06 rims with spacers in order to make them fit the 84.

IF the guy selling them can't help you out correctly with a tape measure and a straight flat piece of something for the rim lip. See if he can at least take a picture or two of the measurement also, so you know how it was measured. Spacers should be determined after purchase to get the right one for the application.
