Weld draglite max tire size

Why is there a warning for these and other brands of rims stating 'for use with under 31" diameter tires'?? What happens with 31" or larger if used?

More info please...cause a 15x14 draglight can sure take a bigger tire than 31" tall..

What wheel size are you talking about?

It doesn't say any specific width, I'm looking at getting 10" wide rims and using 31" tall tires (10.5 wide). Just questioning something I saw on both Weld and Centerline websites.
