OK, I now need some advice on front springs. 83' Elco... glass hood and glass front bumper. Im looking for new front springs with about 2" of drop. Still needs to be streetable
I think the proper way to do it would be to get the car on a scale and just weigh the front end. A few hundred pounds can make a major difference. what about drop spindles?
I have small block springs in the front of my wagon with 2" drop spindles. I would like it to sit a couple of inches lower and am probably gonna switch to moroso's. One thing I have learned is not to cut before you put them in!!
Hotchkis 1 inch lowering spirngs

But it lowered my car more because i'm iron headed big block and all steel front end.
the picture is my wagon with 235/60/15's. it tucks the top of the tire a hair and I rub just a tiny bit only at full lock.
