What gears should I go with ?

Ok,I have a GN 8.5 and a TH 350 the car will be a 1/4 mile car .....What gears do ya think?? 4.56 or 4.10 ?? I will be running M/T ET street radials 275/60/15 and /or Hoosier 28/10/15 ,....Thanks

A lot would depend on the cam and RPM range you plan on running in.
I run 11.50 w/ a 28 tall tire w/ 4.30 rear and go through the traps @6600
(8% convertor slip)

Its a 388 with about 12:1 compression not sure of the cam yet ,and a Victor Jr intake...

What about a 388 with Brodix race rite 180s pushin 10.5:1

with those heads and the right camshaft a 4.56 gear isn't gonna be much at all..

What about a 388 with Brodix race rite 180s pushin 10.5:1

With this combo yes a 4.10 will do fine as the heads are small.
