79 malibu with 383,3500 stall,12 bolt 4.56,125 shot,255/60/15 m.t drag radials.1/8 mile track,right now running on motor only i going though the traps at 6100 rpm et is 7.48 mph 90.but on a 125 shot the rpms are at 6700 at 7.04 at 96 mph and had to back off the on runn because got up on the rev limter.was thinking of trying a 29 or 30 inch tall tire and how much would it drop the rpms?anybody have any ideas?
what tire height could i use?
