What's the biggest tire I can fit?

Right now, I am running a 15x8 wheel with 4.5" offset. But I am also running a spacer. The tires are Hoosier DOT's measuring 26X8.5".

For the street, I have a 15x8 Weld with 3.5" offset. What would be a good tire for that wheel? My friend tells me a 235/60/15, but I think it will look too small, no?

On the 81 malibu i have a 15X8 rim with a 295/50.

I believe I use a 235/70 tire..... which is same oem tire as a 4wd s10 or blazer..... there are tons of these tires around cheap...... and or free.... great for burnouts... and are a little over 28" tall..

Ended up going with the 255/60-15. Worked out great and it looks nice. I will try to post up pics tonight. Thanks for the help guy's. cool.gif

Sweet, turns out one of my kids took a pic of the wagon at the lights. In this pic, the wheels weren't polished yet. My other boy (I have three) polished the next day to a mirror finish. 8)

This pic is with the 15x8's with 3.5" backspace and the 255/60-15 tire. I think it looks great. But I might go to the 235/70-15 because I like the "tucked in" look.
